Laminated Safety Glass
Enhanced protection, security and sound control with laminated layers.
Laminated glass bonds two or more sheets of glass with a tough PVB or SentryGlas interlayer. If it breaks, the glass stays in the frame — which is why it is specified for security, overhead glazing, guardrails, hurricane-rated openings and noise reduction.
RPM Glass installs laminated glass for storefronts prone to break-ins, ground-floor windows, school and healthcare projects, skylights, sloped glazing and any opening where falling glass would be dangerous. Laminated units can be combined with tempering and insulated glass for the best of all worlds.
It is also the go-to solution for sound. Offices next to Route 9 or I-290, medical suites and conference rooms all benefit from acoustic laminated glass that dramatically cuts traffic noise without changing the look of the window.

Frequently asked questions
Does laminated glass stop break-ins?
It resists them. Multi-layer laminated glass stays in place after impact, delaying entry and giving alarms time to work — standard for pharmacies, jewelers and cannabis retail.
Can laminated glass be tempered too?
Yes. Laminated tempered glass combines impact strength with post-breakage retention and is common for railings and canopies.
